Apps on the App Stores
More than 3.5 million apps are listed in the Google’s Play Store today, whereas 2.8 millions apps are confirmed in the Apple’s app store by the end of year 2017. Hundreds out of them are social media apps; some are doing really great with connecting people. Whatsapp, Facebook, and Instagram are some examples. However, these numbers are growing all the time.
Reports suggest that by the beginning of 2018, more than 81% of US Americans will have a social media profile.
